Hello, I’m Harvey. This is my studio.
Saunders Design is a one-person web design studio here in Cornwall, and I’m the one person. I design and build websites for small businesses, clubs and charities across the South West, along with the logos, menus, signs and printed bits that go with them.
I keep things small on purpose. It means I can take the time to understand how your business works, talk to you in plain English, and make something that feels like you rather than like a template.
How I work differently
A bigger studio has its place. Here’s what’s different with me.
- One person, start to finish
- At a larger agency you might speak to a salesperson, then an account manager, then never meet the designer. With me, the person you first chat to is the person who designs, builds and looks after your site.
- Face to face, if you like
- I’m local, so we can meet at your place of business or over a coffee nearby. Phone and video calls are fine too. Whatever suits you.
- Plain English, not jargon
- No acronyms, no long reports, no “deliverables”. You get a short plan you can actually read, and straight answers to your questions.
- A clear price up front
- You’ll know exactly what it costs before any work begins. No surprise add-ons and no paying for layers of management.
- Website and identity in one place
- Because I do both, your logo, colours, printed pieces and website are made together, so nothing has to be matched up later.
- Still here afterwards
- Once your site is live, I don’t move on to the next big client and forget you. Need a change or have a question? Drop me a line and you’ll hear back from me.
