No, we can work with clients across the UK and further afield. While our home is in Leicestershire, UK, and we’ve worked with many different businesses in the area, most of our clients are spread over the UK and US. The great thing about our work is that it can be done remotely, so if we’re unable to meet in person, we can catch up over regular Teams or Zoom calls.
Yes, we’d be happy to chat your project through in person. You can visit our Hinckley office which is just around the corner from the picturesque Trinity Marina and Ashby Canal. Or if it’s easier, we’ll visit you at your premises.
As an agency, we’ve worked with clients across a wide range of industries. From events and manufacturing to smart home technology and motorsports, we can adapt and respond to creative challenges of all sizes. We appreciate industry experience is a bonus, but it’s nothing without a solid strategy to drive your digital marketing forward. That’s why when you work with us, you’ll benefit from insight-led decision making, original creative ideas and an expert knowledge of digital best practice.

Yes, many of our clients bring us in as an extension to their team. This can be if:

  • They’re at full capacity and need to bring on additional resource
  • They need to focus on more pressing tasks
  • They have reached the limits of their digital skills and need to outsource

We can adapt to your needs and apply our creative web expertise to your campaigns. This can be on a one-off or monthly retainer basis with tasks including custom web development, uploading blog posts and amending your homepage banners in line with special offers.

As a smaller agency, we’re a tight-knit team who can focus our time and attention on getting you the best results possible. We offer a more personal approach to client relationships and creative work than bigger agencies, and can involve you at every stage of the project. Of course, if you’d prefer to take more of a backseat role, we completely understand and can bring you in as and when you feel is best.

We pride ourselves on our high quality work and will only sign off on your project once you’re completely happy. If there’s a specialist service you’re after that we don’t offer internally, we can draw on our wider network of talented creatives to bring their skills to the table.

Our rates vary depending on the type of creative work and exactly what’s required of us. The needs of your business are completely different to one of your competitors, which a generic flat fee doesn’t take into account.

We offer personalised quotes that depend on:

  • How much planning and strategy is involved
  • Relative importance of the work in relation to your goals 
  • The type of creative work
  • The value it’ll bring to your business
  • How long the project will take

From this, we’ll develop a project fee that covers all the elements of the job. We prefer to work this way because project fees tell you exactly what you can expect to pay, whereas hourly rates are estimates of how long we think the work will take. And ultimately, you’re paying us for our expertise, not how quickly we can complete the work.

As a small team, we’ll keep costs low and work to maximise your budget so you can get the most value from us. If your project requires specialist skills that we don’t offer in house, we’ll agree additional costs with you before bringing a freelancer on board.

We’re always looking to reduce our environmental impact and have made small changes throughout various areas of our business:

  • We’re fully paperless with invoicing and opt out of print communications from our suppliers. 
  • The servers we connect to can be found in a green datacentre, where for every kilowatt of energy used, a tree is planted. They also use adaptive cooling for all of the server racks, which is a more energy efficient practice.

Web design FAQs

No two websites are the same, so the cost of one can completely differ from another. It all depends on what type of website you want and the purpose this will fulfil for you and your customers. Here are some examples of the websites we create:

  • Single web page – ideal for smaller businesses who want to increase their digital presence, showcase their services and offer a point of contact for customers. This is less time-intensive than the other options below.
  • Photography-led site – if you want to tell your brand’s story through high quality imagery, we’ll dedicate significant time to image optimisation and design.
  • Basic e-commerce site – for a small business or boutique company looking to sell several products online, this would be a straightforward website build that enables transactions to be made quickly and easily. As your business grows, we scale up your website to add in more functionality such as the features below, as and when you need them.
  • Product heavy e-commerce site – perhaps you're a larger company selling a few hundred products online. You’ll need an online shop with different category pages for product inventory, as well as shipping integration with your stock and links to your specific payment gateway. Other elements we can include are:

    • Affiliate marketing plug-ins
    • Accountancy software tie-ins
    • Pay-per-click (PPC) ad integration
    • Tracking software for abandoned carts

As you can see, there’s a lot more going on in the background of a site like this after its initial setup, which would affect the cost.

Again, this all depends on the individual requirements of your website. For a brochure style website, you’d be looking between 4-6 weeks, while an e-commerce website is likely to take longer. Of course, these are just estimates and if we’re to work together, we’ll give you a full project timeline in our proposal document with dates for key milestones like design, development and delivery.

Absolutely! If your budget is limited, we can look at producing a simple website that fits in with your goals and customer journey. This would be along the lines of: Home, About Us, Services x3 and Contact Us.

Rest assured that once your website is finished, we won’t just disappear and let you fend for yourself. Instead, we can help ensure your website runs smoothly and securely at all times with our website care packages. These include:

  • Dedicated private server hosting
  • Updates of plugins & Wordpress software to ensure maximum security
  • Weekly backups of your website in its entirety
  • Constant monitoring of site security
  • Daily scans of the website to ensure no malicious files exist

Web hosting is required to keep your website on the internet. Your newly designed and developed website can’t live online without it. Where we come in is by offering space for you to rent on our UK-based servers. This is known as shared hosting and a number of other websites live here on this server too. The infrastructure is all designed to store, process and deliver website files and data quickly and securely.

An optional extra is to deploy private servers, which we’d recommend for websites with high traffic, such as e-commerce sites. Without going too technical, e-commerce stores have higher performance requirements and use more resources than static websites – especially when they’re busy. As your business grows, we can scale up your private servers to be more powerful and handle even more website traffic.
Absolutely! Our sister company Saunders Cloud offers all the domains you can think of. There’s the simple .com and, or you could have something more custom to your business, such as .shop or .group.
We specialise in building bespoke sites using WordPress and WooCommerce, so these are the main platforms we stick to. However, we’d be happy to rebuild your website in either WordPress or WooCommerce, if this is something you’re interested in. Switching your site isn’t as simple as a quick copy and paste job, or drag and drop of a few images. Instead, we’ll use your current layout to rebuild your site from scratch in the new platform. Like with any website build, this takes time and before working together, we’ll set delivery timescales so you know when to expect everything by.
WordPress is the content management system (also known as a CMS) that all of our sites are built on. If you’re looking to sell products on your WordPress website, we can enable WooCommerce as an add-on, offering e-commerce functionality.

A WordPress brochure site is ideal if you’re a service-based business and want to raise awareness of what you do and generate leads. It doesn’t need to be complex or have too many pages. We’ll work with you to make it as easy as possible for people to find information about you, helping intuitively guide them toward the next step in their customer journey.

Where your business could benefit from a WooCommerce e-commerce website is if you want to create an online store to sell your products. WooCommerce has countless design options and can be completely customised around the unique needs of your business. It’s easy to use and easy to scale up as your business grows.

SEO stands for search engine optimisation and refers to the process making it easier for people to find you on Google’s search engine rankings. You may have an expertly designed site, but if it’s not optimised for search engines, you’ll be missing out on important web traffic and potential business growth.

As well as increasing your online exposure, a high SEO ranking can help your business appear more credible and trustworthy. For you to rank highly, Google needs to deem your content high-quality and your website as an authority source.

10k followers may seem like a huge distance away and this definitely doesn't happen overnight. However, with an effective strategy made up of a consistent posting schedule, high res images, the relevant hashtags and a clear brand aesthetic, we can point you in the right direction! Of course, how many followers you have isn’t everything and we’d encourage you to think about the overall engagement of your audience. At the end of the day, you want to build a community of like-minded people who take an active interest in you as a brand, purchase from you and recommend you to others.
We’ll regularly be in touch to talk through your strategy and if it can be adjusted based on how your social channels are performing. We’ll also schedule update calls to keep you in the loop throughout, and provide in-depth reports on how your platforms are growing.

Just like how your business is more than your products and services alone, a brand is more than its logo. The job of a brand is to creatively communicate the overall experience your business offers to customers. This is achieved through a wealth of elements such as colour, graphics, typefaces, copywriting, and of course, a logo. These all work together to form a visually-appealing, consistent brand that appeals to your customer’s emotions and encourages them to engage with you.

Every company has different needs based on their unique goals, so no branding work ever costs the same amount. Our approach is to provide you with a project fee based on your specific requirements. This will factor in costs for the following:

Website care FAQs

You can raise a ticket using our bespoke client area, which is also where you can manage your packages, register a domain and transfer an old domain to us. Once you’ve submitted your ticket, we'll get back to you as soon as we can and keep you updated on the progress of your query.

A Multisite Network is a type of WordPress installation that lets you create and manage a network of multiple websites from a single database. We can provide a care package to manage your WordPress Multisite Network, but as this is a little more complex and requires additional work to set up, we’d have to quote it separately. Just send us an email about your requirements (e.g. the number of websites in your network and any relevant plugins they use) and we’ll put together a package specific to your WordPress Multisite Network.

Yes, the minimum term is a six month contract. We’ll notify you three months into your retainer if you haven’t used your hours yet and make recommendations on how we think they could be best used, such as adding a new page to your website or a blog post. If it gets to six months and you still have unused retainer hours, these will be lost and your contract will auto-renew unless notice is given.

No problem. We're happy to manage multiple websites and can have a chat with you about pricing options for three or more websites. Every month, we’ll send you a detailed report for each website with information on its analytics, backups completed, site speed, plugins and core updates.

Yes, if nothing has changed on your website for a while or the information you provide is out of date, Google will consider this stagnant and penalise your search rankings. From a software point of view, out of date plugins can significantly slow down a website. Google will rank you further down on the search engine results pages if your site is too slow to load or has expired SSL certificates. Yes, absolutely. We’d be happy to work on a white label basis and create reports for your clients. These will all be branded with your logo and company colours so they look and feel like part of your business.
