Saunders Design is a website design and development agency that builds powerful digital experiences. Our expertise spans across interactive websites, stand-out branding, agile social media strategies and productivity-boosting website care packages.

We’re a stone’s throw from Hinckley’s Trinity Waterside & Marina, along the beautiful Ashby Canal. While Leicestershire is our home, we’ve worked with ambitious start-ups and fast-growing businesses from all over the UK, as well as with clients across the globe.

As a smaller agency, we pride ourselves on working collaboratively with our clients to help them make a solid, lasting impression online. So, think of Saunders Design as your team’s friendly digital partner.

Owner and Creative Director
Like all business owners, Jake wears many hats. He personally oversees all projects, attending on-site meetings with clients and suppliers. On top of ensuring clients get the best results, he’s always working to bring in new business, streamline processes and manage the team effectively.
Florence Smith
Social Media Manager
Our social media expert Florence has a wealth of experience across retail, automotive and many other industries. She’s your go-to for creating original content that’ll put your brand in the spotlight.
Reece Maudlin
Graphic Designer
Reece has more than an eye for design – he has an instinctive creative ability. He can take an idea from concept to delivery, whether that’s when looking after our branding projects or assisting with our creative web design work.
Lucy Wells
Administration Assistant
Every business needs someone like Lucy to help them stay organised! Looking after all things admin, Lucy is responsible for invoicing clients, managing supplier payments and putting together client reports. She keeps our operations flowing smoothly.

As our resident WordPress guru, Kennedy is pretty much fluent in HTML and CSS. From theme and plug-in development to page builders and database management, he makes complicated website work seem very straightforward.

This recognises organisations that prioritise and care about their employees, the environment, customers and suppliers, while paying their taxes in the spirit of the law. As part of our environmental action, we only use green suppliers and plant a tree with More Trees for every new website we build.


No, we can work with clients across the UK and further afield. While our home is in Leicestershire, UK, and we’ve worked with many different businesses in the area, most of our clients are spread over the UK and US. The great thing about our work is that it can be done remotely, so if we’re unable to meet in person, we can catch up over regular Teams or Zoom calls.
As an agency, we’ve worked with clients across a wide range of industries. From events and manufacturing to smart home technology and motorsports, we can adapt and respond to creative challenges of all sizes. We appreciate industry experience is a bonus, but it’s nothing without a solid strategy to drive your digital marketing forward. That’s why when you work with us, you’ll benefit from insight-led decision making, original creative ideas and an expert knowledge of digital best practice.

Yes, many of our clients bring us in as an extension to their team. This can be if:

  • They’re at full capacity and need to bring on additional resource
  • They need to focus on more pressing tasks
  • They have reached the limits of their digital skills and need to outsource

We can adapt to your needs and apply our creative web expertise to your campaigns. This can be on a one-off or monthly retainer basis with tasks including custom web development, uploading blog posts and amending your homepage banners in line with special offers.

Our rates vary depending on the type of creative work and exactly what’s required of us. The needs of your business are completely different to one of your competitors, which a generic flat fee doesn’t take into account.

We offer personalised quotes that depend on:

  • How much planning and strategy is involved
  • Relative importance of the work in relation to your goals 
  • The type of creative work
  • The value it’ll bring to your business
  • How long the project will take

From this, we’ll develop a project fee that covers all the elements of the job. We prefer to work this way because project fees tell you exactly what you can expect to pay, whereas hourly rates are estimates of how long we think the work will take. And ultimately, you’re paying us for our expertise, not how quickly we can complete the work.

As a small team, we’ll keep costs low and work to maximise your budget so you can get the most value from us. If your project requires specialist skills that we don’t offer in house, we’ll agree additional costs with you before bringing a freelancer on board.

As a smaller agency, we’re a tight-knit team who can focus our time and attention on getting you the best results possible. We offer a more personal approach to client relationships and creative work than bigger agencies, and can involve you at every stage of the project. Of course, if you’d prefer to take more of a backseat role, we completely understand and can bring you in as and when you feel is best.

We pride ourselves on our high quality work and will only sign off on your project once you’re completely happy. If there’s a specialist service you’re after that we don’t offer internally, we can draw on our wider network of talented creatives to bring their skills to the table.
